short story with moral: THE SHEPHERD BOY

        Once upon a time there lived a shepherd boy in a village. He used to look after the sheep in a forest near the village. The shepherd boy was very naughty. He thought of making villagers frightened. One day, he was looking after the sheep. He hit upon an idea to cutting a joke with the villagers. He cried, 'Wolf,wolf '. The villagers thought there had come a wolf. They came with a sticks in their hands. But there was no wolf.. The villagers were angry. They went back.
         One day a wolf really came. The shepherd was terrified. He cried out: 'wolf ! wolf !'.
          But the villagers thought that it was making a joke. Some one said that he was telling a lie. They said that there is no need of going to help him.
          They did not come to help the boy. The wolf killed many sheep.

Moral: Once a liar, always a liar.
                           Or
             Never tell lies.
