I wish to bring to your kind notice the deteriorating law and order condition in Bakra Nagar, Baroda. For months together we have been seeing it worsening day by day. Rough looking young men with goggles on eyes and chewing gum in mouth can be found any time in the bazaars and shopping complexes. They roam aimlessly in search of their prey. They state at lonely girls and young women with mischief in their eyes. they use double language which is lewd in taste. Obviously, they indulge in eve-teasing. Due to the fear on their account young girls and women do not come out in the open and all alone. Small groups of them can be seen driving their motorbikes recklessly with a lot noise due to the pressure horns and rattling engines. One can easily spot then before the Girls College gates and the gates of certain schools. Since there are no policemen on the beat in such sensitive areas they roam freely as they like.
I request you to kindly look into the matter without any delay. also post some policemen in plain clothes to get a first hand information about the place and take a necessary action.
